Mawlid e Mustafa Conference held by Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League

Mawlid e Mustafa ﷺ Conference was held on 10th of November by Minhaj ul Quran Women League (MWL) London at the MQI London centre.

The programme was hosted by sister Memuna Umer. The event started with beautiful Quranic recitation by Hafiza Amina Shah, following this many sisters participated by reading heart-warming nasheeds and manqabats.

Hafiza Sadia Mehmood spoke in English on the reality of Mawlid's celebration and its compound effect through being consistent.

Group of sisters recited nasheed in their beautiful voice. Following that Ustaza Sehrish Mobeen delivered an Urdu speech regarding the Ishq e Rasool (peace and blessings upon him). She mentioned that era we should strengthen our faith in Allah Almighty and the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), also reminded us of the passion and love we should have in our hearts for the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings upon him). She further explained us what Ishaq e Rasool is and gave examples of great lovers of Rasool.

After that though provoking speech our guest of honour Ustaza Fatima Mash'hadi explained us that given the time we are living in, it is equally important to remember who the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is and what are his teachings. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings upon him) was sent as a Prophet of mercy and guidance for the entire mankind.

The event was concluded with salaam upon the beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and a heartfelt Dua. Food was served to all the attendees at the end.
