A Vision of Love, Peace, and Harmony: The Inspiring Address of Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri at the United Nations

A momentous international conference focusing on interfaith harmony and global peace took place at the United Nations Headquarters bringing together representatives from various faiths from across the globe.

In a moving and inspirational speech on the occasion, Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran shared his dream of a world built on humanity, peace, love, and ethical values.

Towards the end of his address, he presented a touching analogy. He envisioned a fountain of love and a garden of peace. His dream is for the world to transform into a beautiful garden with rivers of love, freedom, kindness, and mutual understanding flow in it.

He hoped that humanity will be nourished by these values, which promote respect, dignity, and unity.

Dr. Qadri said, "When I write or travel from one corner of the world to another, I wish that this world becomes a garden filled with love, its soil is made of human values and its harvest grows from the seeds of goodness and sincerity."

The chairman of the Supreme Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran invited the audience to join the mission of love. "Let us all become caretakers of this garden and share its fruits with one another. Together, let us become a living example of love, peace, tranquility, and mutual unity for humanity, so that mutual respect and peaceful coexistence among the world's religions can be promoted."

In his closing remarks, he addressed the global community, hoping, "By the grace of Almighty Allah, the blessings of the final Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), Prophet Abraham (AS), Prophet Moses (AS), Prophet Jesus (AS), and the prayers of all faiths, that day will surely come when humanity will become a practical embodiment of peace, love, and mutual respect."

Dr. Qadri also emphasized that this conference is a practical representation of the Abrahamic heritage, where Jewish, Christian, and Muslim representatives are not only participating but also advancing the shared humanistic messages of their faiths. He stated that the spirit of humanism from Prophet Moses (AS), the message of salvation from Prophet Jesus (AS), and the message of peace and harmony from Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) are present here.

He also appreciated the humanistic messages of Gautam Buddha, Krishna, Sikhism, and other religions, recognizing their contributions to promoting compassion and co-existence.
