OSLO, NORWAY: Shaykh Hammad Mustafa al-Madani al-Qadri graced a dinner and interactive session with the local bodies of Minhaj Youth League Norway. President MYL Norway Hayat-ul-Mir Khan, General Secretary Awais-ur-Rehman Saqib, as well as NEC President Awais Ejaz Ahmed and others were also present.
Shaykh Hammad Mustafa started by congratulating the executive members and volunteers with the Mawlid 2026. He said the conference was historic in every sense including vision, content, execution and professionalism. He further provided guidance and answered questions from those presents.
In his advice to the youth, he focused on the following points:
𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗧𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗙𝗔𝗜𝗧𝗛 Faith is not protected by emotion or inspiration alone. It is protected by discipline and daily commitment. The five daily prayers, allocating regular time to listen to the speeches of His Eminence Shaykh-ul-Islam, as well as studying religious literature are the minimum forms of nourishing one’s faith.
𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗬 𝗜𝗦 𝗞𝗘𝗬 It is a reality that as life progresses, staying actively involved becomes harder. What becomes dangerous is abandoning consistency. Allah the Almighty has placed a hidden strength within every believer. It only grows when we act regularly, even if the action is small. Do what matters most to you, but do it continuously. Long-term sincerity always outweighs short-term enthusiasm.
𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗚𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗕𝗥𝗢𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗗 Brotherhood is a responsibility. Caring for one another does not require grand gestures. It only takes 10 second for one brother and 10 second for the other brother, in total 20 seconds, to check in, to ask how someone is doing, to remind them they are not alone. Neglecting this weakens hearts more than we realize.
𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗔𝗟 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗣 Productivity and leadership begin internally. Take the first step before waiting for ideal conditions. Do not ever say “someone will do this”, but rather “I will do this”. True leadership is service. He showed to how His Eminence Shaykh-ul-Islam would do every single task himself when opened the first office of Minhaj-ul-Quran International in 1981.
𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗠𝗢𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗡𝗢𝗕𝗟𝗘 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗘𝗥 The Shaykh reminded us that character is the foundation of all religious work. “Be polite, be honest and judge no one” was Shaykh Hammad’s concluding remarks. By giving space to one another, hearts are allowed to grow. Allah the Almighty looks at the heart before the action. Do everything purely for His sake and for the pleasure and smile of the Holy Messenger ﷺ.
The participants were deeply moved and highly motivated by Shaykh Hammad Mustafa al-Madani al-Qadri’s counsel.
